50 First Dates☆★

This movie is love comedy which I like the best in movie genre and I really liked it. But I'm quite strict so I just give B+ for it.

①People
The main characters are Henry Roth and Lucy. Henry is a vet and Lucy is an art teacher. Henry is quite flirtatious guy and he enjoys to date with lots of women. Lucy is a cheeful and cute girl. Since she got a car accident, she got a brain disease which she loses short term memory.
②Point of view
I think we saw most of scenes from Henry side. We could see many hopeless scenes from Henry's voice and some scene which Lucy gets confused the first thing every morning from Lucy's side.
③Place
The setting is in Hawaii and there are many scenes in cafeteria which Henry and Lucy have breakfast every morning.
④Picture
I clearly remember the climax when Henry enters Lucy's room in a hospital. There are loads of pictures of Henry. I became so happy that Lucy remembered Henry.
⑤Plot
At the beginning, Henry just keeps dating with lots of women who visits Hawaii. One day he meets Lucy in a cafeteria. They enjoy chatting and makes a promise to see the next day, too. On the next day, however, Lucy says she doesn't remember about Henry. He comes to know about Lucy's accident of last year and her short-memory disease. He falls in love with her and everyday he tries to see her and remember him to her. First her family tell Henry to stay away from Lucy but gradually they accept him. One day Lucy finally knows her disease. She accepts it and she loves Henry as well. However, Lucy knows there is no future between Henry and Lucy so they decides to break up. Some days later, Henry gets to go sailing, but he can't forget her and go to Lucy. Amazingly, Henry occupies her mind and she keeps drawing his faces. They start to go out again and get married. Lucy's disease lasts forever, but they get a daughter and live happily forever.
⑥Premise
It is about love and disease. I think the director tries to tell us that is you love someone strongly and patiently, it will overcome the disease and happiness will come.
⑦Theme
Because it has a happy ending, I felt happy and satisfied. It also gives us courages being patient and not giving up.
⑧Conflict
Lucy faces the opposition to time. She does exactly same thing every day and she thinks everyday is October 13th.
⑨Connections
Unfortunately, I can't find any connections with this movie.. but after Henry finds Lucy, he come not to be flirtatious anymore. It must be a fate! I hope I can see my fate man soon like Henry and Lucy.
